Yana Wilson has always done things big, and now the Epson Tour rookie leads the fields at the
Reliance Matrix Championship at historic Spanish Trail Country Club May 1-4, 2025. In her first
Florida Swing, Wilson made three cuts and had two top 10s and now she hits her hometown.
“The events have been really fun,” said Wilson after her first event. “Obviously, I did not expect
to get in the (Atlantic Beach Classic). It was really just playing it by ear, just to see how I do in
the first event. But I’m so grateful to have gotten in. The Tour’s been awesome, and girls have
been really helpful.”
Wilson turned pro in the fall of 2024, and it is paying off. This week at Spanish Trail Country
Club could be the story book ending.
The Vegas native ultimately made the decision to turn pro after her T8 finish at the Pre-
Qualifying stage of 2024 LPGA Q-Series. Advancing to Qualifying meant Wilson had guaranteed
Epson Tour status for 2025.
