UNLV men’s golf head coach Jean-Paul Hebert announced Friday that Las Vegas native Mason Snyder has signed to join the Rebels for the 2025-26 season. A 2023 graduate of Palo Verde High School, Snyder returns home after spending two standout seasons at Loyola Marymount, where he earned 2024 WCC Freshman of the Year honors and collected nine top-10 finishes.
He brings a 70.72 career scoring average, highlighted by a career-low 11-under 205 tournament score and a single-round best of 7-under 65 on a par-72 course.
“We’re excited about the addition of Mason,” said Hebert. “He is a good player, a real competitor, and has a heart for UNLV Rebel Golf. His talent and his attitude will combine to make an immediate impact on our program.” A two-time All-WCC honoree, Snyder ranked second on LMU’s roster in scoring average in both seasons, including a 70.13 average over 39 rounds as a freshman.
