Vegas Golfer Pursues Pro Golf Dream with Spot on Inclusive APGA Tour

Marcus Mullins is a Vegas native and is now a full time athlete on the APGA Tour. The professional golf dream is alive well for the golfer who got his start in the game via the First Tee of Southern Nevada.

The Advocates Professional Golf Association was founded in 2010 and is a non-profit organization dedicated to Inspiring an inclusive future through the game of golf.

The APGA offers a trusted pathway for talent development both on and off the course and is committed to creating opportunities for golfers to excel and make their mark on the game. Mullins stands 30th on the APGA Tour Jeff Dailey Points standings and is coming off a T29 at the APGA at Port St. Lucie (Fla.) tournament with a two-day, 36-hole score of 2-over-par 146 (74-72) at PGA Golf Club (Dye Course).

“The first thing that comes to mind is opportunity,” Mullins says about the APGA Tour. “A lot of people want to chase this dream and it’s super costly and very expensive. The APGA is perfect for me. We travel and here are good purses and the competitionis real stiff. So through them, I am able to chase my dream.”
