United Way of Southern Nevada will once again host its annual Golf United Tournament, presented by Del Taco, on Monday, May 18 at Red Rock Country Club. The event annually attracts golfers, corporate partners, and community supporters from throughout the region for a day centered on golf, networking, and giving back to Southern Nevada families.
The tournament begins with player check in at 6:30 a.m., followed by an 8 a.m. start on the Red Rock Country Club course overlooking the Red Rock Canyon landscape. In addition to the competition, participants will have the opportunity to connect with fellow community leaders while supporting programs that make a lasting impact throughout Southern Nevada. “At its heart, Golf United is about the community coming together to create opportunities for our neighbors in need,” said Samuel Rudd, President and CEO of United Way of Southern Nevada.
Golfers will also have the chance to spend time on the course with former NFL standout Mark McMillian and receive golf instruction from Tilly Gretsch, founder of Gretsch Golf Academy and Head of Instruction, PGA. Funds raised during the event benefit United Way of Southern Nevada initiatives focused on education, financial stability, health care access, and emergency support services for local residents.
