Everyday golfers of all levels are loving the chance to hit it like the pros (well, almost). They shared their comments when they got a sneak peak a few days ahead of the official release.
“The world needs more play in it and The Sure Thing offers a chance for all players to have fun at Topgolf, regardless of skill level,” said Michael Angelides, Senior Director of International Marketing at Topgolf. “We want everyone to experience the thrill of making contact with the ball and The Sure Thing will provide Players of all abilities with that opportunity. Making golf more attractive to more people goes hand-in-hand with making the game easier, and launching The Sure Thing club with beginners in mind is our way of helping to make that happen.”

As for everyday golfers, they instantly feel how much easier it is to hit it.
“I have never hit with this, and now that I have, it just seems like it goes,” said Jimmy J. from Utah. “I mean, t’s not slicing. … I could hit a mishit and it’s still going pretty straight. Yeah, this is a pretty sure thing. I tried to get that thing to turn and it wouldn’t turn. As far as Topgolf, if this is the first time you’ve done it, this would probably be the club you’d want to use.”
Heidi, also from Utah, summed it up well.
“I think it makes it fun because everyone likes to be able to hit the ball, right?” she said. “I think it’s pretty easy to hit … Everybody loves a sure thing,”
The Sure Thing has been designed in collaboration with Callaway and officially not for sale and only available for gameplay at Topgolf venues. The unique club boasts a super-sized face to make it easier to make contact with the ball, and is fitted with a shorter shaft to make it easier to control. The loft is set at 20° (a standard driver is between 9°-12°) to ensure higher ball flight.
At Topgolf Las Vegas, the club is available on levels 1-3 for children and adults, right and left-handed.
“It’s as sure of a thing as there is in Vegas,” said Bruce, also from Utah.
