At the center of the story is Shadow Creek itself, the legendary Tom Fazio design that has captivated golfers since opening in 1989. Located just 20 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip yet tucked away as an elite setting of rolling fairways and dramatic waterfalls, the course offers a striking contrast to the surrounding Nevada desert. Long considered one of the most exclusive golf experiences in the world, Shadow Creek has hosted several high-profile events in recent years, including the LPGA Match Play beginning in 2021. Now it will welcome the strongest field ever assembled for a PIF Global Series tournament.
That field will feature the biggest names in women’s golf. World No. 1 Jeeno Thitikul of Thailand, second-ranked American Nelly Korda and England’s Charley Hull, who captured the season-opening PIF Saudi Ladies International in Riyadh. With such a star-studded roster, Shadow Creek’s demanding 7,560-yard layout will provide a great challenge for an elite event.
The Las Vegas stop marks the second event of the 2026 PIF Global Series, which moves between global sporting hubs to showcase the growing international influence of the game and Saudi Arabia’s expanding golf ecosystem. Following tournaments in Riyadh and Las Vegas, the series will continue to London, Seoul and Shenzhen later this season.
