Ryan Abuan has signed a commitment to join UNLV men’s golf for the 2025-26 season, as announced by head coach Jean-Paul Hebert on Wednesday.
“Ryan is a talented player and a dedicated person, who will play a significant role in the success of our team,” said Hebert. “He’s an exciting and fitting addition to our proud Rebel golf family. He can’t wait to get to work here in Las Vegas.”
Originally from Temecula, California, Abuan transfers to UNLV following two seasons at the University of San Diego. He holds a career scoring average of 68.33 and has recorded seven top-10 finishes. His personal bests on a par-72 course are a 6-under 67 round and an 8-under 208 tournament total.
In the 2023-24 season, Abuan finished his freshman year with a 72.63 scoring average. He earned a season-best result by tying for seventh at The Prestige and was part of the University of San Diego team that won the 2024 WCC Championship title.
