This is now an annual event on the schedule at Red Rock Country Club, and the members couldn’t be happier to open their course to the Red Rock Golf Classic benefiting Operation Homefront. On Nov. 13, the event will raise dollars and awareness for military families. –By Brian Hurlburt
“Every November, the members of Red Rock Country Club celebrate our veterans with a Golf Classic and we show our support by donating to Operation Homefront, an organization serving military families and a 501(c)(3) charity,” says John Clay, tournament director and member. “This year will be our 13th year, and we look forward to adding to the $1,360,000 raised to date for our veterans.”

The Operation Homefront mission is to build strong, stable, and secure military families so they can thrive, not simply struggle to get by, in the communities – OUR communities – they have worked so hard to protect. A key aspect of our mission is to ensure that military families have access to the support and resources they need to stay strong, stable, and secure in the face of adversity. As a military family support organization, we strive to provide respect and understanding to our military families while ensuring that all families in need of assistance receive it.
“We are extremely proud to support our troops and share the private Red Rock Country Club Mountain Course with the community,” Clay said. “Included are teams of four players, prizes, lunch, and an auction. It is always a special day. Join us for a fun day of golf as we recognize the sacrifices made by military families to ensure our freedom.”
The event is scheduled for Wednesday, November 13th, and space is still available. It is $250 per player or $1,000 for a foursome. If not participating, you can still buy a sponsorship or make a cash donation.
