New Serket Golf Club Is Reimagined Goddess of Vegas Golf

There’s a new game in Las Vegas golf, and Serket Golf Club is its name. The course is the evolution of Rio Secco Golf Club, which was designed by Rees Jones, the U.S. Open Doctor.

Serket debuted September 20, 2025, just after over seeding. Check out GolfSerket.com for your Las Vegas tee times and more.

Here are the official opening words from GolfSerket:com, revealing how a new Vegas Golf Goddess may be watching over your tee shots, irons, and putts. Serket is professionally-managed by Cabot and owned by VICI Properties, Inc.

Formerly Rio Secco Golf Club, our legendary course enters a bold new chapter as Serket (pronounced SIR-ket). Inspired by the ancient Egyptian goddess of protection, Serket embodies strength, healing, and resilience—qualities captured in our striking scorpion emblem.

Serket’s powerful yet protective spirit guides golfers through the stunning and demanding desert landscapes that have long defined this Las Vegas icon.

A new name. A renewed spirit. The same world-class challenge. Welcome to Serket.

“Through Cabot-Managed Properties, our mission is to continually elevate the properties within our portfolio, ensuring each destination delivers an exceptional golf experience that reflects its unique character,” said Ben Cowan-Dewar, CEO and co-founder of Cabot. “The transformation to Serket melds the course’s natural splendor with a refreshed identity that captures both the spirit of the game and the surrounding Mojave Desert.”

More about the Reimagination:

“Celebrating the natural beauty of the property’s surroundings while embracing the rugged nature of the Mojave Desert in which it is located, the new identity is anchored by a bold scorpion logo, symbolizing the course’s distinctive edge and powerful presence. Refreshed branding will be reflected in updated signage, tee markers, scorecards, and special touches to bring Serket’s bold identity to life across the property. With sweeping views of the Las Vegas Valley, immaculately maintained fairways and a design that rewards precision, Serket continues to offer the same exceptional play that golfers have come to love, now with a brand that reflects its unique spirit.”

There are also enhancements in the restaurant and special new touches around the property and clubhouse.
