On Thursday, UNLV women’s golf head coach Amy Bush-Herzer announced that former Rebel Madeleine Laux is rejoining the program as an assistant coach.
Laux will join full time assistant Luka Mudde and head coach Amy Bush-Herzer on the staff.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome Madeleine back,” said Bush-Herzer. “She was a tremendous competitor and an outstanding teammate, while displaying strong leadership on and off the course during her time here. Her familiarity with our championship culture, coupled with her experience as a student-athlete, will be an invaluable asset to our team. She knows what it takes to succeed at UNLV and our players will benefit immensely from her perspective and guidance.”
Laux, a Rebel from 2020–24 under Bush-Herzer, will help oversee team practices. During her playing career, she earned Academic All-Mountain West honors and completed a degree in elementary education at UNLV.
