LPGA Tour Dreams Come True for Vegas Golfer Yana Wilson

For many years, most of the time when I showed up to practice at Legacy Golf Club, Yana Wilson was there, working hard and prepping for the future. That hard work has more than paid off as she won twice on the Epson Tour in 2025 and is officially exempt for the 2026 LPGA Tour.

So, what is the first thing she thinks about now that she has reached the pinnacle of golf?

“I think about me being a little kid dreaming for years to become an LPGA tour player, and it really means a lot,” Wilson said. “To look back at my younger self and tell her that I did it at 19 years old is pretty cool.”

After winning countless Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association events plus high school team and individual titles, Wilson originally committed to the Univ. of Oregon, but instead turned professional. She first won the Reliance Matrix Championship presented by Epson Championship at Spanish Trail Country Club and then added the Dream First Bank Charity Classic. As of Sept. 24, 2025, she was second in the Race for the Card Points Rankings.

“It’s been a grind, but it’s been a lot of fun,” Wilson said. “Honestly, I didn’t know that my rookie year would be this busy. I just feel like I’ve done a really good job at staying consistent throughout the whole entire year and keeping everything the same with my game.”

Wilson looks back with appreciation at everyone who supported her in her hometown along the way.

“I want to thank you guys all so much for all the support throughout the years of me growing up here in Southern Nevada,” Wilson said. “It doesn’t go unnoticed, so I really appreciate the support and thank you.”
