The UNLV men’s golf team finished its season tied for 23rd place, while sophomore Zach Little kept his individual run alive following Sunday’s third round at the NCAA Championships, held at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa (Par 72, 7,548 yards).
Little enters Monday with an opportunity to compete in a playoff for the final individual spot in the last round of stroke play. His shot at advancing depends on Georgia Tech defeating Wake Forest in the team playoff at 8 a.m. PT. If Georgia Tech advances, an individual playoff will follow at approximately 8:30 a.m. PT on the 16th hole.
Zach Little led the Rebels for the second consecutive round, scoring a 1-over 73 that featured an eagle on hole No. 2 and four birdies. His performance placed him in a tie for 36th at 3-over 219, keeping alive his chance to play one more round. Senior Caden Fioroni closed out his four-year UNLV career with a tie for 71st at 7-over 223.
