Accessibility is where it all begins. For the founders of the Ladies Who Golf Club, that single idea—making the game more welcoming and inclusive for women—has grown into a national movement now taking center stage on one of golf’s most exclusive platforms.
That journey recently led them to Shadow Creek Golf Course as ambassadors for the Aramco Championship, a co-sanctioned event between the LPGA Tour and the Ladies European Tour. The April 2026 tournament, won by Lauren Coughlin, brought together the world’s top players—and provided a powerful stage for a community built on opportunity and representation.
For the founders, simply being at Shadow Creek carried deep meaning. The chance to walk the fairways, watch elite players compete, and participate in pro-am experiences represented more than a milestone—it was validation. What began as a small initiative in Atlanta introducing women with zero experience to the game has expanded to nine chapters across the country. Now, standing alongside professionals and amateurs at a global event, the growth feels both surreal and earned. The Ladies Who Golf Club was established September 16, 2023, by mother-daughter duo Keyeriah Miles and Lashonda Miles, alongside Notre Dame Collegiate Golfer Brittany Dawn Damper
The mission remains rooted in breaking down barriers. Ladies Who Golf Club was created to give women a space to learn, connect, and gain confidence in a sport that has traditionally felt out of reach. From first swings on the practice range to stepping onto the first tee, the organization emphasizes beginner-friendly environments and the importance of community—ensuring no one has to navigate the game alone.
That sense of belonging extends far beyond the course. Members have leveraged relationships built through golf to advance careers, explore new opportunities, and expand professional networks. As the founders often emphasize, golf is more than a game—it’s a gateway. And with increased visibility, including recognition on an international stage, their message is resonating louder than ever: everyone belongs in golf, and the game is better when more people are part of it.
