Parrish defeated Grant McKay and Matt Mitchell by four shots at the event, which was played at Boulder Creek Golf Club.

Parrish had 13 birdies and two eagles over the three rounds, and he was thrilled to earn the U.S. Am spot after not making it through via the local qualifier.

“It’s great,” Parrish said. “I missed out on local qualifying, so this was probably my best shot to get in. It feels really good to get that done and get in. The state tournaments always have the best fields that we can get in Nevada. I won the State Match Play in 2023, and that was also out at Boulder Creek. also. It was a tough tournament to win. It’s just really nice to get it done.”
