The event organized by Karl Larcom, Boulder City Director of Golf Operations, and his team, officially tees off Sept. 27 with a two-person scramble at Boulder City and then a two-player best ball on Sept. 28 at Boulder Creek.
But an optional racehorse will be played Friday, Sept. 27 at Boulder Creek followed by a welcome party.
Entry fee for the two-day event is just $325 per team and an additional $25 for the racehorse.
There is one flight gross and net and an official GHIN handicap is required. Partner handicaps must be within 10 strokes of each other. There will be 20% of team handicap used on day one and 90% on day two.
Larcom, a PGA of America professional, is very involved in the Southern Nevada golf community and is creating new events at the two courses to embrace the community and create more playing opportunities for amateurs.
