Siena Golf Club will host the epic Roadwork Ahead Golf Tournament on Sunday, July 12, with a 7:00 a.m. shotgun start. The four-player scramble gives the club’s groundskeeping staff the opportunity to take its revenge on golfers … in a fun way.
There is still time to reserve your spot by emailing golf@sienagolflcub.com or calling 702-341-9200 to register.
The course setup will create a round that is way different from the everyday golf experience. Golfers can expect fast greens, challenging hole locations, moved tee markers and other course adjustments throughout the round.
The goal is to make players think their way around the course while adding a fun twist to the competition. As the tournament theme says, golfers may find themselves playing “a par 4 that suddenly plays like a par 6.” The course setup will reward teams that can adjust to different conditions as the round progresses.
The tournament includes team prizes, contest holes, a luncheon and an awards ceremony following play. Entry is $135 per player. Golfers interested in participating can contact Siena Golf Club for more information and registration details.
