“There’s still a lot of golf left to be played, so it’s just a good confidence boost, kind of what I shot today, but no expectations going into tomorrow,” said Wilson after the round. “You know, golf is weird, so yeah, I’m just going to try to flow out there again tomorrow.”
Wilson played in the Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association and is a former Nevada State High School champion while at Coronado and the 2022 U.S. Junior Girls Amateur championship. She also won the AJGA portion of the 2023 Mizuho Americas Open and the 2022 Hilton Grand Vacations ANNIKA Invitational presented by Rolex. She was also the youngest to win the Joanne Winter Arizona Silver Belle Championship (2020) at 14 years old.
She also was a three-time Augusta National Women’s Amateur participant (2022, 2023, 2024) and a two-time Drive Chip and Putt National Champion at Augusta National.
In her first four starts on the Epson Tour in 2025, she has two top 10 finishes already.
