Primm Valley Golf Club Lakes course has made a tremendous come back and it showed off during the recent Nevada State 4A Men’s High School Golf Championships May 6-7, 2024. Doral Red Rock earned the title with a dominant performance over runner up Green Valley High. Drake Harvey from Sky Pointe won the individual title.
“The whole tournament I put myself in the right spots to make pars,” said Harvey, who was also the 2023 champion. “The plan is not finished yet. I’m trying to win four straight titles.”
The team of Doral Red Rock was made up of Luke Cheplak, Michael Edwards, Bradley Bourn and Brett Mayhew.
“It feels amazing because we’ve all worked so hard throughout the season and to finally get rewarded and win both the region and the state is definitely something amazing,” Edwards said.
