Another girls high school golf season is in the books and two Southern teams earned titles and two Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association members earned medalist titles. Boulder City High and Emmerson Hinds won 3A titles while Coronado won the 5A Girls State Title for the fourth straight year and Maddie Perez won individually.
“It feels really good to win a team title,” Hinds said about back-to-back state title for Boulder City. “I’ve seen how hard the girls have been working and it’s just really great to be able to get this win with everybody. And I feel really proud of myself for being able to pull out an individual win in such tough conditions on the course. It just means a lot to me to be able to win back to back.”
Here is a look back at the Boulder City High and Hinds wins at the Southern Region event.
