Boulder Creek Hosts as CSU Pueblo Claims Fourth Straight RMAC Title

Boulder Creek Golf Club set the stage for the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Championship, hosting the event with an elite field. The championship brought together top programs from across the conference despite challenging weather conditions throughout the tournament.

Colorado State University Pueblo capitalized on that platform, capturing its fourth consecutive RMAC Championship and continuing a dominant run in conference history. The ThunderWolves opened with rounds of 287 and 296, building an early advantage and positioning themselves firmly in control heading into the final round.

Extreme winds in the Las Vegas desert forced a significant adjustment, with officials shortening the final round to nine holes under USGA guidelines. Boulder Creek’s staff and RMAC administrators responded quickly to implement the change, maintaining the integrity of the championship. CSU Pueblo handled the weather with composure, posting a 162 over the final nine holes to finish with a three-round total of 745 (+25), securing the title by six shots over Colorado Christian and Westminster.

Ashley Lam from Westminster led the individual competition, successfully defending her RMAC title at +1. The victory marked the first RMAC title under interim head coach John Wristen and secured CSU Pueblo’s automatic berth into the NCAA postseason, where they will host the West Regional at Pueblo Country Club, carrying momentum from a championship week that Boulder Creek helped bring to life.
