The Ely Rotary Club will host its annual Rotary Golf Tournament on July 25, 2026, at White Pine Public Golf Course. Just a four-hour drive from Las Vegas, Ely offers golfers a chance to beat the summer heat, with temperatures typically about 30 degrees cooler than those in Las Vegas, while supporting a great cause. The tournament raises money for scholarships for graduating seniors at White Pine High School and helps fund community projects supported by the club. Over the years, the Ely Rotary Club has awarded more than $500,000 in scholarships and has contributed to numerous local and international service projects.
The four-person scramble is open to golfers of all skill levels. Registration is $150 per player and includes tournament play, a barbecue lunch, and entry into an exclusive raffle. Golfers will also have the opportunity to win $15,000 with a hole-in-one on designated holes.
Local businesses can support the event through a variety of sponsorship opportunities, including reception, breakfast, major, tee, and hole sponsorships. Sponsors receive benefits based on their level, including tournament entries, recognition, signage, and promotional opportunities. Businesses are also encouraged to donate raffle prizes or items for player gift bags.
