Bali Hai on Las Vegas Strip Has Beautiful Views in More Ways Than One

At Bali Hai Golf Club, located on the fabulous Las Vegas Strip, the fairways, greens, palm trees and lagoons aren’t always the first thing golfers notice. No, that would be the amazing views of the aforementioned Las Vegas Strip and the resorts that seem like they a driver away in distance.

Few golf courses in America place players so close to world-famous resorts. Throughout the round, golfers will be distracted—in the best way possible–by the skyline of Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, New York-New York and other iconic resorts rising up in the sunlight.

The contrast is what memories of a Vegas Golf trip will be about: tropical landscaping in the foreground and one of the world’s most recognizable skylines in the background. Fore!

Opened in 2000, Bali Hai was designed by architects Lee Schmidt and Brian Curley to create the feeling of a South Pacific island in the heart of Las Vegas. More than 4,000 trees, approximately 2,500 towering palm trees, over 100,000 tropical plants and seven acres of water features transformed the desert terrain into a lush oasis. White Augusta-style sand bunkers and black volcanic rock are featured throughout the island theme.

The views are especially memorable because they change throughout the round. On many holes, the towering resort hotels seem to frame tee shots and greens, creating photo opportunities that simply don’t exist anywhere else in Las Vegas. Early morning rounds feature the Strip glowing in the sunrise, while afternoon rounds showcase the shimmering hotel towers against bright blue desert skies.

As evening approaches, golfers can finish with the city beginning to light up for another Vegas night. This time just might be the best time to play Bali Hai …

Bali Hai is a par-71 layout stretching 7,002 yards from the back tees, but multiple tee options make it playable for golfers of all skill levels. One of its most recognizable holes is the par-3 16th, an island green surrounded by water and bright white sand, where golfers often have an audience watching from the restaurant patio.

But there are other beautiful views at Bali Hai Golf Club. You can add a stunning Par Mate female caddie to the round to spice it up and add to the Bali Hai/Vegas Golf experience.

This is what Vegas is all about. Views of the Strip. Views of the course. Views of the caddie.
