On the course, the world’s best LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour golfers are vying for a share of the $4 million purse at the Aramco Championship at Shadow Creek.
Off the course, a series of grow-the-game and women’s empowerment initiatives are part of the event, including two Southern Nevada junior golfers playing in the pro-am (Emmerson Hinds, Samantha Harris), as well as the hosting of the Ladies Who Golf Club throughout the week, including founder Keyeriah Miles.
Additional initiatives include a clinic for Valley High golfers, the Women in Sports Playbook panel, and the Muslim Golf Association Family Day during the third round.
Ladies Who Golf is a community redefining what it means to be a golfer by highlighting the intersection of golf and STEM. Many of these women are pioneers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, proving that the analytical precision of the lab translates to the precision of the putting green.
