At the first official LIV Golf Media availability at the historic Las Vegas Country Club, Jon Rahm found out Greg Norman has been holding out on him.
Seems “The Shark” and CEO of LIV Golf never shared that he won the Las Vegas Invitational when it was played at the LVCC in 1986. Norman pocketed $207,000 for his efforts, the largest purse on the PGA Tour at the time.

“It just goes to show it just takes patience,” said Norman, an Orlando resident who was a frustrated runner-up to Jack Nicklaus in the Masters and Fuzzy Zoeller at the Heritage in his last two starts leading up to Vegas. “If you keep knocking at the door, sooner or later it’s going to open. I guess this week I took It right off its hinges.”
Maybe Rahm and his Legion XIII will be knocking down some doors this week.
