Golf Summerlin Turkey Shoot Features Fun, Texas Scramble, Beat the Pro at Eagle Crest

At times, it seems like the three courses in Golf Summerlin get lost in the Vegas Golf shuffle. But now might be the time to tee it up at the fun, cool Eagle Crest Golf Club, an 18-hole, par 60 layout tucked in the hills above Summerlin. The Turkey Shoot Texas Scramble is scheduled for Nov. 18, and will feature a Beat the Pro contest, lunch after play, prizes, fun, long drive, closest to the pin, and more.

The fee is only $58 for Golf Summerlin loyalty members or Southern Nevada Golf Association members, or $66 for Southern Nevada residents. Sun City Summerlin residents play for their member rate plus 15 bucks. The event is an 8 am shotgun.

To reserve your spot, call 702-240-1320 x4 x1 or visit the Eagle Crest golf shop.

A Texas Scramble format is when each golfer hits the drive and the best tee shot is selected. eEach golfer plays his or her own ball from there. The format is sometimes known as a shamble.

Eagle Crest is one of three Las Vegas golf courses at Golf Summerlin. Each are worth the play. The other two are par 72 layouts Palm Valley Golf Club and Highland Falls Golf Club. The courses were designed by architect Greg Nash and World Golf Hall of Fame inductee Billy Casper.
