Former UNLV Golf Star Harry Hall Wants That First PGA Tour W at Shriners Open

Harry Hall, a former UNLV golf star, played the Shriners Children’s Open on a sponsor exemption a couple years ago and has parlayed that into full-time PGA Tour status. Now he comes into the 2023 rendition looking for that W. Tourney directory Patrick Lindsey helped coordinate the exemption and Hall has not forgotten that.

The Shriners Open will always have a special spot in Hall’s heart. The event is Oct. 13-15 at TPC Summerin. Get Shriners Tickets now at the official website.

As of Sept. 29, Hall was 88th on the FedEx Cup list and 90th in the Fall FedEx standings. The top 10 from the fall can earn invites to the 2024 Designated events.

Hall spent the Shriners media day talking to the press but also giving tips to Shriners patients during a putting challenge. Hall is one of the nicest and most approachable golfers on the Tour.

Maybe getting that W in front of the hometown fans is meant to be in 2023.
