Historic Las Vegas National Reopens from Overseed Friday Sept. 29, 2023

It’s that darned time of year when golf courses close for overseed. The bad news is they are closed. The good news is terrific conditions are coming soon, albeit after a cart-path only timeframe. Las Vegas Natonal Golf Club reopens Friday, Sept. 29 and will be cart path only through Oct. 5.

Here you can reserve your tee times for Las Vegas National Golf Club.

Las Vegas National Golf Club is the most historic golf course in Las Vegas and dates back to 1961. Events on the LPGA Tour and PGA Tour have been played at National, including the 1996 Las Vegas Invitational when Tiger Woods won for the first time on the PGA Tour. He shot 70 on the par 71 Las Vegas National.

The course was also used during the filming of the movie “Casino” starring Robert DeNiro, Joe Pesci and Sharon Stone, among others.

The National is also home to the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame.
