Sure, Butch Harmon has helped the world’s greatest golfers win majors, but he is always there for the little guy, too. That was on full display a couple years ago when he revealed his best golf tip ever, “the art of throwing a golf club”. –By Brian Hurlburt, founder, LasVegasGolfInsider.com
“For those of you who are temperamental and like to throw clubs, not saying I agree or disagree with it, because I have thrown a few, but there is an art to it,” Harmon says at the beginning of the Golf Digest video. “Number one, never throw the club sideways or backwards, because you have to go get it.”

Harmon lives in Henderson, a Las Vegas suburb, and operates the Butch Harmon School of Golf at Rio Secco Golf Club. He has worked with Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Greg Norman and many other greats. Most recently, he has helped Rickie Fowler return to form.
He is a member of the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame and the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame. And, soon, we hope, a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame.
But, Harmon is adaptable and shared the club throwing tip for the world to see.
