Rising Star Brixi Chasing PGA Tour Dreams in China After Winning Q School

Gordan Brixi isn’t a household name yet, and many in his hometown of Las Vegas, may not know him. But Brixi, 20, who plays out of Reflection Bay at Lake Las Vegas, is chasing his PGA Tour dreams on the China Tour. Here’s some of his story.

Brixi won the China Tour International Q-School and is spending the summer traveling and learning in China. The experience is invaluable.

He finished T34 in the Zhengzhou Open and his best finish was a T18 at the Exciting Hangzhou West Lake Open. Through July 12, 2023, Briixi was 21st on the China Tour Order of Merit.

A long summer of golf is still ahead.

He came to Las Vegas to play for UNLV but Covid hit and he decided to turn professional, which he did in 2021. Interestingly, he was born in China.

When home and living in Lake Las Vegas, he works with High Performance Golf Institute instructors Craig Barlow and Jeff Gallagher.
