Here is the perfect excuse to beat the July Vegas heat and have a great, small town time and help a good cause. Play in the annual Ely Rotary Golf Tournament scramble at White Pine Golf Club July 29 when temps in the altitude will be 30 degrees less than Vegas. Read on for more details and how to register.
Ely and White Pine Golf Club are located four hours north of Las Vegas and in the mountain air. The White Pine Golf Club has had some tough times recently, but is looking very good of late. This writer played the course a couple weeks ago and it was in very good shape.
The Ely Rotary tournament includes a welcome reception, Friday, July 28, with a wine tasting and silent auction and then golf is a 9 am cannon start on Saturday. July 29. A barbecue follows golf with plenty of action throughout the day including a $15,000 Hole-in-One prize and a cornhole tournament. Friends and family are welcome to attend the post-round BBQ.
