There is no denying that a wedding day is one of the most important days a couple will experience in a lifetime. And there is no denying that getting the tiny details correct behind the scenes makes the nuptials more memorable and enjoyable for all involved. Red Rock Country club event experts understand this and have made it a core strength. PHOTOS: https://susieandwill.com/
“The first thing I think about when it comes to a hosting a wedding or an event are the details,” says Sarah Gamble, Red Rock’s director of catering and an industry veteran. “It is our job as a team to make sure that what was communicated to the client happens during the actual event. That means making sure the details, no matter how big or small, are handled. To do that, we communicate continually with the client and our staff and make sure everyone understands the wedding or event from beginning to end, and sometimes even before the event to make sure certain tasks are completed to ensure a smooth event day.”
The team at Red Rock Country Club must be doing things well because they have collected numerous awards, plus the venue currently enjoys a 4.9 out of 5 stars rating on WeddingWire.com.
Here are some of the other recognition that has been heaped on the club.

Red Rock County Club features an indoor and outdoor venue tucked in the shadows of the Red Rock mountains and overlooking the Arnold Palmer-designed golf courses. Events and weddings from 12 – 300 can be reserved, whether you are a member of the private club or not. Events can vary from corporate outings to charity golf tournaments to birthday bashes to anniversary parties to large weddings and more.
The majestic flagstone brick clubhouse is accented by rolling golf greens, desert landscaping and manicured grounds and features a garden terrace with a wood burning fireplace, flagstone mantle, and bistro lighting. The outdoor event lawn is for wedding ceremonies or other smaller occasions.
Gamble and her team make it a mission to provide top-level customer service and the food is directed and prepared by Executive Chef William Pfersching. Besides details, consistency in event organization is key.
“Our chef is very adamant that whether it is a table of two or a banquet event for 150, the quality and the service is going be the same high quality, no matter what,” Gamble says. “When I hear comments about our events from clients or guests, they always rave about the food and service. Chef Pfersching has very high standards and I think people notice that about our weddings and events.”
The reviews, both formal and informal, reveal that people notice those attention to details and consistency.
“There are not enough superlatives to accurately describe our feelings about how exceptional this event was planned and executed,” wrote Mariah and Jerry following their wedding. “The venue is beautiful, both inside and outside. A very pleasant surprise has been the number of compliments we have received about the quality of the food. We have received rave reviews – all unsolicited – about the food and the attention to detail throughout the venue.”
In the event business, it is understood that sometimes everything doesn’t go 100 percent to plan. It is something Gamble and her team plan for … even if it can’t be planned for.
“With our experience we have the ability to react quickly and adapt to any circumstance,” Gamble says. “We just had a wedding recently and it was raining. I know that it was very stressful for the bride with all of the details and last-minute decisions that had to be made. But when it was all over, she was still over the moon happy because we took care of her. We made sure that what she wanted was getting done. It is our job to limit the worry of those involved so they can enjoy the event.”
For the golfers, Red Rock Country Club is home to the private Palmer course and the public Arroyo course.
For sure, Vegas is home to plenty of quality wedding and event venue options. But, also for sure, Red Rock Country Club is among the top of the list for weddings or any type of event. The sister course and venue to Red Rock Country Club is Siena Golf Club.
