At Boulder Creek, Southern Nevada Junior Golf Association member Eunice Han won the championship division of the Nevada State Women’s Amateur played at Boulder Creek Golf Club. Also winning titles were Regina Quintero (Silver State – gross) and Karen Bernard (Silver State net).
Han will be attending UNLV in the fall but isn’t on the golf team as of yet. She also previously won the Nevada State Junior Amateur.
“I’m playing very well right now,” Han told Las Vegas Golf Insider write Bill Bowman for the official state website. “But there are some things I can still improve on. I need to get more consistent with my long game and get more tournament experience.”
Boulder Creek Golf Club is known for hosting top-level events including high school and junior golf, amateur golf plus college tournaments and also qualifying for the Shriners Children’s Open. The course is home to 27 holes and a clubhouse with restaurant and event center overlooking the course and mountains.
