Harry Hall Flips Bummer of a Season with Red Hot Korn Ferry Victory

Former UNLV golfer and current Las Vegas resident Harry Hall played a scorching back nine during the final round and then birdied each of the three playoff holes to win the NV5 Invitational presented by Old National Bank. –By Brian Hurlburt, Founder, Las Vegas Golf Insider

“This year has been a little bit stale as far as performances and outcomes, but I played some good golf this week,” Hall, 24, said on KornFerryTour.com. “And to birdie all three of the playoff holes – I think I shot 30 on the back, too – some of the best golf I’ve ever played. Hit some great putts. I think my best is good enough to beat anybody.”

It was Hall’s second Korn Ferry Tour title to go along with his victory at 2021 Wichita Open Benefitting KU Wichita Pediatrics. This year, Hall had zero top 10 finishes in 12 starts.

He changed that bummer of a season dramatically to jump off the season-long points list in search of a top 25 spot a PGA Tour card for the 2022-23 season.

Hall, who is sponsored by MGM Rewards, posted on Instagram following the win:

“What a week! As a golfer, you always want to get better and achieve a level of golf you have never played before. I achieved that this week. I reached a new level on those last few holes and wow, was it fun!
Thank you so much to everyone for all the messages of support and happiness. I am so grateful for the team around me and feel very fortunate to win this years NV5on the Korn Ferry Tour. It wouldn’t be possible without all of you.”

Hall went from 94th to 17th in the points standings. Fell UNLV alum Taylor Montgomery is now fifth after a T8 at the NV5.
