Wildhorse Golf Club Weddings

In Henderson, at Wildhorse Golf Club weddings offer a historic and tranquil setting in the heard of Henderson, a Vegas suburb. Cynthia Steger, director of weddings and special events, also said it’s all about what the couple wants.

“We have three different wedding sites on property to choose from,” she said. “And we have a 4,000-square-foot ballroom that will seat 218 for a reception so no matter the size, we can accommodate them.”

Steger said the packages they offer include just about everything a couple needs to tie the knot.

“Everything is included in the price,” Steger said of the wedding packages which run from $3,500 to $13,000 depending on the number of people. “The officiating is included, the DJ is included, there’s a two-entrée meal and a full hosted bar for four hours. About the only things not included are floral arrangements, the cake and the videographer. But we do have vendors that we can recommend for those items.”

Steger said Wildhorse sees 30-35 weddings per year–as well as more than 100 other events including meetings, birthday parties, reunions and many other events–and said the reason she sees that amount of business is easy.

“We try to be as accommodating as we can be for their event,” she said. “We really do bend over backwards to make sure our clients have the best event possible.”

And they have even allowed a little of the local wildlife into events … well, sort of.

One of the recent weddings at Wildhorse was for a Vegas Golden Knights cheerleader, and one of the guests was Chance, the team’s mascot, which is a gila monster.
