Pete Dye’s Three Vegas Courses Earn Golfweek’s Best Status

There are three signature Pete Dye golf courses at the beautiful Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort and, once again, each has made Golfweek’s Best You Can Play list for Nevada. The Wolf (9), Sun Mountain (10) and Snow Mountain (12) each made the top 15 for Nevada. Paiute courses are annually recognized by readers and reviewers for their conditions and overall beauty. — By Brian Hurlburt.

“Anytime we can get recognized by a reputable and long standing publication such as Golfweek is truly an honor,” Ayeesha McKeany, the resort’s director of marketing and a former college player at nearby UNLV. “To be included in a ‘Best of’ list with some of the best golf courses locally and nationally speaks volumes of our overall product and the experience we provide here.”

On a national scale, the courses also earned nice recognition on the top 200 best resort courses in America. The Wolf was 153rd and the Sun Mountain was 177th. For the Insider’s money, Snow Mountain is the favorite of the three.

The Paiute Resort is located about 25 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip and is a secluded resort facility undisturbed by homes or other buildings, save for an expansive clubhouse overlooking the courses and other scenic desert and mountain vistas. The clubhouse features a large restaurant with floor-to-ceiling windows but large event areas and fully-stocked pro shop. Also onsite are two large practice facilities.

The resort offers a Players Advantage Club Card for savings plus the Golfapalooza with free replays and a Bounce Back savings of 20%.

A June 2020 review from a user was the following:

“Wow. Best conditioning I have ever seen at Paiute. This complex deserves 6 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!”

Enough said.
