Mountain Falls Golf Club Birdie and Eagle Golf Packages
Primm Valley, located 30 minutes south of Las Vegas, and Mountain Falls, located 45 minutes west of Las Vegas, are operated by Elite Golf and offer up enticements for players to take that trip to play a round or two.
Both resorts have birdie and eagle packages. The birdie packages feature 18 holes of golf, cart, a sleeve of Callaway golf balls, $20 certificate in the pro shop and two drink tickets. The eagle packages offer the same amenities but also include rental clubs and an extra sleeve of golf balls.
Check with the pro shops for restrictions and pricing.
At Primm Valley, there are two 18-hole Tom Fazio-designed layouts, The Lakes and The Desert.
The Lakes Course is a par-71 layout that reaches 6,945 yards from the tips and has water, water and more water as the wet stuff comes into play on 11 of the holes.
Over on the Desert Course, which plays 7,131 yards and is a par-72 design, players will find an impressive contrast. There’s still water, but desert landscaping adds a scenic change to the layout as well as ramping up the challenge.
At Mountain Falls, players will take on a course designed by Jack Nicklaus and Cal Olsen. The par-72 course reaches 7,032 yards from the tips and players will have to think their way around the course. There’s water in play on six of the holes and more than 60 bunkers will also grab players’ attention.
So if you’re looking for that escape from the hustle and bustle of the City That Glitters and still want to play a little golf on courses with world-class designer names attached, Primm Valley and Mountain Falls certainly fit the bill.
