If golfers are looking for an iconic spot on a golf course that screams ‘only in Las Vegas,’ look no further than the 10th hole at The Legacy Golf Club in Henderson, NV. The par-3 features four tee boxes, each in the shape of a suit in a deck of cards: diamond, spade, club and heart. Go ahead, top that…we dare you. –by Bill Bowman, Las Vegas Golf Insider.

Legacy is a par-72, Arthur Hills designed layout that was originally opened in 1989. The course has long been a local favorite and one of those hidden gems.
It’s not only the 10th tee box that players will find impressive when they tee it up.
The course also features a couple of other par 3s that will test both accuracy and shot-making creativity and the par 5s are daunting risk/reward designs. Add in well-placed ponds and bunkers and you’ve got a design that will challenge everyone from the amateurs to the pros.
One of the best tests on the course is the par-5 17th. At just 515 yards from the tips, most players can get home in two. But, there’s a dilemma or two standing in the way as players take aim at the green. On the left is a huge pond with bunkers on the right standing guard. It’s up to you: Do you give it a go in two, or lay up and try to make birdie the old fashioned way with a wedge in your hands.
We are in Vegas. Maybe it’s time to gamble a little.
