Add in the fact that members’ non-resident guests will pay a 50 percent discount off the prevailing resort rate and the deal keeps getting better. Resident guests receive a 10 percent discount.
“If you do the quick math, the rate per round is great if you play a lot of golf,” said Mark Blais, director of marketing. “And if you entertain clients or bring out of town guests to play, it does provide outstanding value.”
The membership includes 25 percent discount in the golf shop and restaurant discounts (not including sale items in the pro shop), 14-day advanced reservations, a personalized locker and much more.

And finally, this is a 13-month membership. Because of overseeding time as well as occasional private events, members are given an extra month to make it a full one-year membership.
Rio Secco is a par-72 layout that reaches 7,313 yards from the tips. The layout is home to impressive risk/reward par 5s. If players have the nerve, and the shotmaking ability, getting home in two is possible.
Don’t forget the Butch Harmon School of Golf is on property for all your lesson needs and Rio Secco’s sister layout, the highly-rated Cascata, is also a course to put on any golfer’s must-play list.
And speaking of Cascata, Blais added in one more nugget that adds to the value of the membership. “Members have a standing guest discount rate to play Cascata,” Blais said. “That’s a great added bonus and probably not one that other clubs can match. Having a sister property with the stature of Cascata is certainly a great benefit.”
