Play Hall of Fame Event at Fazio’s Primm Valley Lakes

Some hall of fame settings are in play June 23 at Primm Valley Golf Club, home of two Tom Fazio delights. Fazio is a hall of fame golf course architect and the Lakes course will host the inaugural Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame Day outing and all are invited to play for only $40 per player. The Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame promotes and honors the illustrious history of golf in the Las Vegas Golf Region and each dollar will go directly to the non-profits efforts. –By Bill Bowman, Las Vegas Golf Insider staff.

PLAY IN LAS VEGAS GOLF HALL OF FAME DAY NOW

Don’t miss this opportunity to play with some Las Vegas Golf Hall of Famers but if you can’t make it out to play on June 23, be sure to make Primm Valley part of your Las Vegas golf list of courses soon. The event is hosted by Elite Golf Management who are donating the course for the day.

The Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame Fun Day begins with an 8 a.m. shotgun start on The Lakes Course. The cost is $40 and will let you and your golfing friends play a stunning layout at bargain pricing. Check out more about the LasVegasGolfHOF.com

Fazio’s two designs will impress golfers of every ability. The low handicapper will appreciate the challenge the bunkering, water hazards and impressive greens will provide while the high handicapper will benefit from wider landing areas in the fairways. As always, Fazio beauty abounds throughout the Primm Valley experience.

The Lakes Course is a par-71 layout that stretches out to 6,945 yards. It more than lives up to its name with water in play on 11 of the holes. And that starts early with the impressive par-5 second hole. Accuracy is imperative from tee to green as the 530-yard hole plays entirely around a deep-blue pond with bunkers everywhere around this large, undulating green.

Over at the Desert Course, players will tackle a 7,131-yard, par-72 design that offers a stark contrast to the Lakes Course with more, you guessed it, desert landscaping. But, don’t be fooled as there’s still enough water to force players to pay close attention both off the tee and with approach shots. One of the top holes is the 204-yard, par-3 9th. The tee shot comes from an elevated tee (about a 40-foot drop) to a green guarded left by a pond, one of five water holes on this course.

So here’s the chance for you and your buddies to take on the Lakes Course for just $40 per person. And when–not if–you like what you see after playing The Lakes, don’t forget to tee it up right next door at The Desert. And to make things just a little easier and a lot more comfortable, the Primm Valley Golf Club offers stay and play packages with many area resorts.
