OK, we get it for the loyal locals out there in the Las Vegas Golf Region who play a lot of golf. Maybe even two or three times a week. Or more. And the cost of playing that much golf can certainly add up in a hurry. Here’s a solution: one of a variety of annual golf plan packages at Legacy Golf Club. –By Bill Bowman, Las Vegas Golf Insider staff.
The course is a par-72, Arthur Hills designed layout located in Henderson. Legacy is a longtime favorite of locals and visitors alike and was originally opened in 1989. And following a brief closure is back enjoying a renaissance.

General Manager Mike Magnera said that some of the loyal locals had to find new places to play following the closure, but they are returning and the course is committed to enticing everyone to take a new look at Legacy, which for sure isn’t going anywhere and will be around for decades with a new vision and new outlook.
The course re-opened its doors late in 2017 with new owners and is now under the management of Elite Golf who have it good shape and golfers enjoying it.
The Legacy’s Diamond Plan lets players tee it up anytime after 10 a.m. for free. And that’s seven days a week. The cost is $500 per month or a one-time tee of $3,500 per individual. The plan gives players 14-day advance tee times, a 20 percent discount on in-stock soft golf items and one complimentary range card. Players are also able to tee it up before 10 a.m. for just $15 for a cart fee.
Then there’s the Diamond Plus plan. It has all the Diamond perks but lets players tee it up any time of the day for the $15 cart fee. This cost is $300 per month or a one-time payment of $4,900. The one-time payment includes a $500 food and beverage inducement and waives the $15 per round cart fee. For a couple, the cost is $500 per month or a one-time fee of $7,900. This one comes with a $750 food and beverage credit and also waives the $15 per round cart fee charge. The 14-day advance tee time also applies to the Diamond Plus plan.

On the course, players will find a truly iconic Vegas theme. The tee box on the par-3 10th hole features four tee boxes, each in the shape of the suits in a deck of cards: heart, diamond, club and spade.
There’s also a three-hole stretch right after the 10th hole called the Devil’s triangle. The key hole in the trio is the 13th hole. Is 13 a lucky number for you? There’s only one way to find out on this 312-yard, par-4. The hole is drive-able by the big hitters. Moving to the forward sets of tees lets more players give it a go…if they dare. A bunker short and a wash on the left guard this hole and can bring big numbers into play. The good news is there is a huge landing area to the right that will let players check out their wedge prowess if they bailout right.
“With the deals and the benefits, we’re trying to welcome golfers back with open arms,” Magnera said.
Once you play The Legacy, you’ll be back for more. And their golf plan packages will make those trips to the course less of a strain on the pocketbook.
