Summer 18 Deal – the Time Is Right for Golfing Cascata, Rio Secco

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (June 21, 2018)–Here’s your opportunity to play not one, but two world-class golf courses–Rio Secco and Cascata–for one low price that normally isn’t available much of the year: just $299. From now through the end of August, players can call the golf shop at Rio Secco (702.777.2400, ext. 1) and reserve tee times for yourself or for your group and schedule tee times on the two Rees Jones masterpieces. –By Bill Bowman, Las Vegas Golf Insider staff.

GolfTheUnitedStates.com called Cascata “the 8th Golfing Wonder of the World” and Rio Secco is home of the Butch Harmon School of Golf so you never know which PGA Tour and LPGA Tour star you will see when you play Rio Secco.

Some minor restrictions apply for this summer Las Vegas tee times deal and there are blackout dates, but if you haven’t played these two Jones layouts, there’s no better time than right now. Players will also need to use a caddie at Cascata ($50 tip per bag is recommended). Both rounds also must be played within a five-day period of each other.

“If players haven’t checked us out, now is a great time to play,” said Ken Wright, general manager at Rio Secco. “We have two incredible courses that offer great experiences and great customer service.”

Rio Secco is a par-72 course that reaches 7,313 yards from the tips. The par 5s on the course are stunning risk/reward holes and the par 3s will test players accuracy and aggressiveness. Elevation changes from many tees to fairways and from many fairways to greens add to the test. The course recently underwent a multi-million-dollar renovation overseen by Jones and is playing in the conditions it was on opening day 20 years ago.

Cascata, which opened in 2000, is a par-72 layout that reaches 7,137 yards. The facility has been top ranked in Zagat and is always in the top three in the state of Nevada. The course features 18 picture-postcard holes and dramatic elevation changes on just about every hole. The layout covers some 450 acres with bunkering and water features coming into play early and often, adding to the challenge and the experience. A clubhouse with a river running through it is a must see, even before you ever make it to the first tee box.

“Both courses are in fantastic shape with summer coming,” Wright said. “It’s the chance for players to experience two great Las Vegas layouts at a great rate that they haven’t seen before.”

If you’ve thought about taking on either one of these dynamic courses, now is the time to take on both of them–for one low price.
