Well, the Las Vegas Golf Center has just the league for players. It’s a 9-week, night golf league and it kicks off June 12 and runs for nine consecutive Tuesdays. “What we are trying to do is let people get through a normal work day and then have the chance to have a social golf outing at night,” said Chris Haines, golf operations manager. “Our goal is to let people get together under the lights, try a variety of different league formats, meet new people and play some golf.”
The fee is $800 for a team of four or individuals are welcome to sign up for $200. That comes out to just $22 per week and includes the weekly 9-hole event, cart, range balls, two drinks, prizes and appetizers. Add in a free round of golf when you sign up and it’s a summertime bargain. There are also exclusive drink specials every week along with food specials. And one of the most impressive perks: It’s at night with tee times running from 4:30 p.m. until closing.
The Las Vegas Center is a 9-hole layout with plenty of variety as the par-3 holes range in length from 110 to 185 yards. And, it’s lit up for nighttime play as is the 113-stall, two-tiered practice facility that features both turf and mat hitting stations. The center is also a one-stop shopping experience from everything from clubs (a wide variety of brands) to balls to apparel to lessons and dining.
