Las Vegas, Nevada (April 10, 2018)–There are three signature Pete Dye golf courses at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort and golfers love the place, at least it always seems that way. Well, now the resort has proof about the love it receives from golfers as each of the three courses were ranked in the top three in the Nevada rankings in the 2017 reader review rankings on GolfAdvisor.com. Plus, the resort has made a commitment to the environment and player satisfaction by putting in play 265 new, state-of-the-art lithium-powered EZ-GO golf carts. — By Brian Hurlburt.
The courses were ranked at the top out of 71 total eligible Nevada courses. The Wolf course at Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort was ranked first, followed by sister Paiute courses Sun Mountain and Snow Mountain. The Wolf was also ranked 34th nationally. Each were designed by Dye, the World Golf Hall of Fame golf course architect.
“Our mission at the Las Vegas Paiute Golf Resort is to offer the ultimate guest experience and it is as simple as that,” general manager Jeff Reid says. “Our team continually looks at each area of our facility and we ask, ‘what can we do better?’ and it is always with our valued guests in mind. To be at the top of the review rankings out of thousands of reviews, and compared to other high-quality and world-class Nevada golf courses, is humbling. We appreciate so many taking the time to share their Paiute experiences.
“Adding the new carts is just another step in our ongoing guest efforts and we are also proud to do our part to minimize our environmental foot print. We already operate with best practices in mind throughout our facility and golf course maintenance operations, but to now utilize the best in E-Z-GO technology to take those efforts to the next level is extremely meaningful to us.”
The 265 E-Z-GO Elite model carts in play at Paiute is the largest fleet in the Western United States. The carts are estimated to be up to 59% more energy efficient than competitor brands. Golfers are noticing and commenting on better driving performance, expanded comfort, the interactive touch screen format for yardages and course information, score keeping and other cart features.
