LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Dec. 8, 2017)–With the holiday season rapidly approaching, gifts for the golfers on your list can be tough to find. Well, the folks at Golf Summerlin have you covered. In fact, they have you covered no matter your needs with their annual and huge 12 Days of Christmas sale. –By Bill Bowman, Las Vegas Golf Insider staff.
Starting Dec. 13, the sale pricing begins. From special pricing on rounds of golf to drawing for gifts (how about a golf bag or a driver?) to food and drink specials, there are gifts for everyone on your list…or even for yourself. Check out the website for the deals and dates and then plan on stopping at the pro shops on the appropriate dates. It’s that simple.
“There’s a little bit of everything for everybody,” said Donny Long, golf operations manager for Golf Summerlin. “It’s just a thank you for everyone who has been coming out here and also helps us get new people to come out and check us out.”
Long said one of the most popular is the $24 rate on Dec. 24. “That really brings the people out. And it’s for everybody and it’s all day.”
Golf Summerlin features not one…not two…but three Billy Casper and Greg Nash designed layouts.
Highland Falls may seem short at just 6,512 yards from the tips, but it’s still a terrific challenge. With severe elevation changes, bunkering and water features, it will appeal to golfers of every ability.
Palm Valley reaches almost 6,900 yards from the tips. But, while it is a longer layout, scoring opportunities still abound. The opening and closing holes are both par 5s but are reachable in two giving players a chance to start and end their round with a birdie (or an eagle) putt.
Eagle Crest is a par-60 executive course with a wide variety of par 3s (all 12 of them). They vary in length from 115 yards to 224 yards so there is plenty of chances to work with those scoring clubs.
And with all of the specials available at the 12 Days of Christmas sale, there’s no better time–or deals–to check out these three layouts.
