Las Vegas Golf Center Features Improved Game, Auto Power Tees

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Oct. 12, 2017)–There is a #NewNameImprovedGame at Las Vegas Golf Center and it starts with the re-launch of the Center October 13-15 but continues long after that.  The weekend will be filled with golf experiences, new golf products and the chance to see why this site is considered one of Las Vegas’ best one-stop golf destinations. –By Bill Bowman, Las Vegas Golf Insider staff.

The Las Vegas Golf Center (formerly the TaylorMade Golf Experience) opened in 1998 and was designed by Bob Cupp. It is a golfers’ paradise–whether players are visiting our great city or they call it home. And, best of all, the central location right on the south end of the famed Las Vegas Strip makes it easily accessible.

The new Auto Power Tees are also now fully operational on the top deck of the hitting area. Golf balls tee up automatically and the system is the Ultimate Practice Tool in golf and endorsed by Jim Furyk.

“We’re really looking forward to the re-launch,” said Kyle Kunkel, operations manager. “We’ve got the range lit up nicely with LED lighting. In fact, we’re hoping it is the best-lit facility in the world.”

From practicing (there is a 113-stall, two-tiered range with mat and turf hitting areas), to playing (the 9-hole course has holes ranging from 110 to 185 yards), to purchasing (all of the big-name club makers are now represented and there’s always free fittings) to dining (the Flight Deck Bar & Grill can satisfy any appetite before or after your golf experience), this one has it all.

During the re-launch, fans will get the chance to check out the updated experience which includes automated tees on the practice facility and brand new lighting on the range. New lights on the golf course are imminent and there are also new range balls for players.

And during the re-launch, there will be Flight Deck lager draft beer specials, food specials, lessons, fittings and product demos. There is also a free clinic scheduled on Oct. 14 by the Eric Meeks School of Golf which will feature free lessons.

So whether you’re a Titleist player or prefer Callaway, Mizuno, Ping, PXG or others, this is the place to be. And Oct. 13-15, 2017 is a definite weekend to be there.

“Our re-launch is just one more reason for people to want to come out and work on their game, play golf and have fun,” Kunkel said. “This is a quality experience and a sign of great things to come.”
