New Name, Improved Game at Las Vegas Golf Center

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (Sept. 18, 2017)–It’s a new name, and an improved golf experience at the Las Vegas Golf Center, formerly TaylorMade Golf Experience and Callaway Golf Center. The Las Vegas Golf Center is located on the south end of the Las Vegas Strip and across from the popular Town Square. The center’s agreement with TaylorMade expired and that means the focus will now be on carrying all club brands in the retail area in addition to offering the lighted par 3 course and two-tiered practice range. — By Bill Bowman, Las Vegas Golf Insider staff.

“We have the same owners and the same staff but we are changing it up to become more friendly and make sure all golfers know we carry major club brands and have club fitting experts on staff who can offer free club fittings,” said Kyle Kunkel, operations manager. “We’ll now have Callaway, TaylorMade, Titleist, Mizuno, Cleveland and Srixon. It’s going to give the customers more options and give us the ability to work with more players.”

The Las Vegas Golf Center has it all if you’re a golf aficionado. If you’re looking to practice, there’s a 113-stall, two-tiered practice facility complete with mats or turf hitting areas. There’s also the centerpiece: a 9-hole course is lit up for night play (and seeing the Strip light up at night right before your eyes while on the golf course is definitely an ‘only in Las Vegas’ experience). For your dining and drinking pleasure, the Flight Deck Bar & Grill still serves up all your favorites.

And if you’re looking to buy new clubs, the options are now endless and the fittings are now free.

“There’s nothing but good things coming this way,” Kunkel said. “The first of October we are putting up new lights on the range and then we’ll do new lights on the course. We’re going to do improvements wherever we can during this process.”

Overall, Kunkel already sees benefits.

“It will be better for the customers with all of the new club options,” he said. “If it’s golf-related, it will be here. It will be a better all-around experience with more choices. Now people can get fitted for any brand and either test their clubs in our state-of-the-art fitting bay or see real ball flight on our range.”
