Lee Elder is iconic figure in the world of golf. He is a true trailblazer, having been the first African American to ever play in The Masters. Tiger Woods listed him as an idol.
Elder sought excellence his entire life and knows he got there, and a few years ago he shared that experience at Las Vegas Golf Club with this writer and some others gathered on the range.
This Saturday, July 23, Elder gives another clinic at the historic Las Vegas National Golf Club. National is where Tiger won for the first time on the PGA Tour.
Check out Elder’s official quote about excellence in my weekly Las Vegas Review-Journal Golf notebook plus other Vegas golf tidbits.
